As a lifetime resident of Lane County, I can personally attest to what a great place Oregon is to call home. I enjoy exploring the world yet have chosen to reside in the Eugene area, where my husband and I have raised our family, because it of the safe environment filled with good and talented people, lush green scenery, nearby desert, mountain, ocean and river recreation, the mild climate, and the quality education, topped off by the higher education offered by the University of Oregon, Northwest Christian University, Pacifc University and Lane Community College, right here in Eugene. Our health care, art events, sports, wineries, etc. are world class as well.
